3Depict - Fast and Free
This software was developed to allow for analysis of scientific
datasets commonly encountered in atom probe tomography. You can manipulate,
interact with and analyse point based datasets.

- 29th Nov. 2010: 3Depict 0.0.3 has been released, so why not download it. Note that state files are not compatible between the 0.0.x series.
- 21st Nov. 2010: 3Depict 0.0.3 preview has been uploaded to the sourceforge mercurial repository. If you are keen, you can compile the new version from source to give it a test drive. If you find any bugs, please report them

Minimum Requirements:
- Who knows! Every computer I ran this on was fine.
- I ran this on an EEEPC 901(~US$500, 2008) with 2GB RAM running at 800Mhz ("power save" mode). it didn't have any problems.
- I even managed to make it work with software rendering under a virtual machine

Limitations:
- General: Currently you can load approximately 2/3 of your system
RAM's worth of data at any time;
- You can load files larger than this, just not all of it at once (subsets or samplings).
- 32 bit versions:
- General: You can only access files up to 4GB in size.
- Windows: You can only access up to 4GB of system RAM in
the application, regardless
of how much you have
